SAM2 Speed Data Reports
Information and documents about the SAM2 speed data reports
The Parish Council operates a mobile Speed Detection Device called a SAM2. This is located at 5 points around the village at:
- Well Green
- Pound Hill
- Court Hill
- Buxton Road near to Frettenham Road (dual direction)
- Buxton Road near to Frettenham Service Station (dual direction)
A nominated Councillor is responsible for moving the device every 28 days and downloading the data which is compiled into the reports below and then presented at the next Parish Council meeting. This information is also shared with Norfolk Police. Whilst having a deterrent effect on speeding it can also help Police to target their resources at problem areas for roadside speed checks.
